This is momentus in itself, but also since it comes with three other requests for advisory opinion in four world courts/tribunals across four continents of the globe (timeline of which I have recorded in my article and below, for easy readership); two of which have already released its opinions. In all this, I recognise the massive input and effort by young people. I write this in full solidarity with Pacific Islands Students Fighting Climate Change, World's Youth for Climate Justice (WYCJ) as young peoples' organisations and Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) and other legal organisations pushing the momentum forward.
